What does the GOP stand for? I haven’t heard any substantive discussion about the issues, so I can’t answer my own question. After an actual debate was held Tuesday evening, and the Democratic debate was about the issues and not personal attacks, it still remains a fact that the clown car has nothing to say. They continue to attack each other and the Democratic candidates. They know nothing else.
That great reactionary windbag Rush Limbaugh attacked Hillary Clinton. He is a well-known racist, bigot and misogynist, so it was predictable that he would have lots to say about Ms. Clinton. Of course he once again made a fool of himself, but that’s never stopped him before.
“And all of that is predicated on she’s a victim, and being a woman makes her an outsider. And I’ll tell you why she brings it up. She brings it up because that’s about her only accomplishment.” Really, Rush?
Blowhard Business Bungler Donald Trump levied his attack against Bernie Sanders. When you’re jealous of another’s intellect and resolve, you have nothing else to do but attempt to belittle them.
Donald Trump called Bernie Sanders a “maniac” and a “socialist-slash-communist,” in Virginia Wednesday evening. Some ‘maniacs’ deserve our praise and attention, but Trump is not one of them. Trump is a member of the one-percent, the very small group Senator Sanders was discussing. So this is no surprise.
But Trump didn’t forget about Hillary Clinton, another person he would lose to in a battle of wits.
Trump blasted Clinton, “I watched Hillary last night with, ‘we’re gonna give this, we’re gonna give that, we’re going to give that.’ The poor woman. She’s gotta give everything away because this maniac that was standing on her right is giving everything away, so she’s following! That’s what’s happening. This socialist-slash-communist — OK, nobody wants to say it.”
I ask this question once again; ‘how could any member of the working class vote for a member of the GOP?’ They are concerned only with wealthy Americans, and would use all of our nation’s tax money for special interests and the military.
Add Ted Cruz to the group, who basically called the Democratic candidates Nazis.
Karl Rove made a totally ridiculous statement claiming that one of the five was qualified to be our nation’s leader, but all of the clown car were. Really?
Speaking of extremist religious zealots, (which I wasn’t), I read part of an interview pseudo-Christian and presidential wannabe Mike Huckabee gave on “Mickelson in the Morning,” ‘ThinkProgress’ Scott Keyes reports. He said that he believes in ‘biblical slavery’ for those in our prison system. According to the Bible, if someone steals, they should be forced to pay back twice, or up to four times the amount. If they refuse to, they should be sold into slavery.
This is the man who would force all Americans to become Christians. The greatest travesties the world has ever experienced were the result of religious extremism.
Well, there you have it my fellow Americans; the GOP has become a farce and must rename itself. There’s nothing ‘Grand’ about Republicans or the TEA Party.
