This is just another tale of how the major media fails the American people. They refuse to be politically incorrect even if the truth might be revealed. I have no respect for CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, and of course FOX. They are in the business of selling advertisement and therefore fail to report the facts or a complete and credible story.
Post 9/11 evidence was produced that the Bush Administration had been informed of the possibility of an attack by a terrorist group; all of the information was ignored. While Jeb Bush and other members of the GOP defend the criminal actions of his older brother, Donald Trump is not joining these traitorous men. He indicated that some of the responsibility for the cowardly attacks on 9/11 belong to Bush and Cheney.
“When you talk about George Bush, I mean — say what you want — the World Trade Center came down during his time,” Trump said.
Trump was maintaining the plausible truth that he would be a more effective president than Bush was; but isn’t that a statement anyone could make in all honesty?
“He was president, okay?” Trump responded. “Blame him or don’t blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign.”
One of the few positives which can be attributed to the GOP is that they stand together, even when their position is egregiously incompetent and incorrect. Now that Trump is the party’s standard bearer, many things have changed and the GOP has been exposed.
Of course Jeb Bush defended his brother and once again falsely claimed that his brother kept our nation safe from further attacks, when in reality his actions after 9/11 endangered Americans around the world.
“How pathetic for (Trump) to criticize the president for 9/11,” Jeb Bush tweeted Friday. “We were attacked and my brother kept us safe.”
How far from reality can the GOP move itself? Their party is the party of war and destruction, and they can’t win a single military conflict.
The media is claiming that this statement will hurt Trump in the polls. I believe that the opposite will occur. The American people are not very intelligent when they go to the polls, but they are far more aware of the truth than politicians and their tools believe. It has never been openly stated, but millions of Americans such as myself have questioned Bush’s work ethic and the aptitude of his administration for years during his first days in office.
The one thing I sincerely hope evolves from this devastating exchange is that Jeb will fall farther in the polls. He would be worse than his brother if he was elected, and our nation would be engaged in multiple wars once again, while the economy would move closer to another depression.
The only other presidential candidate other than another Bush who chimed in was Ben Carson; a man who knows absolutely nothing about government or politics in Washington.
Ben Carson, one of Trump’s rivals for the GOP presidential nomination, said blaming Bush “wouldn’t make much sense.”
“I think it’s ridiculous to suggest that (Bush) is responsible for it,” Carson said during a brief campaign stop Friday night in Alexandria, Va.
How would he know? His only success has been in pediatric neurosurgery, and reports question his credibility in his former career.
Trump is in the lead because he speaks his truth. I despise him, as do many others, but he is the voice of the Republican Party, and they can’t handle the truth.
