The most backwards state in the union continues to regress. Texas is now refusing to issue birth certificates to children born in their state whose parents are illegal immigrants. A bigoted federal judge has upheld the state’s action.
The GOP never stops talking about the Constitution, and government controlling the lives of individuals. They are simply putting up smoke screens. They are the ones who want to void parts of the Constitution which disallow them to take anti-American action. They are the ones who seek control of the private lives of our nation’s people.
Right wing extremists want to revoke the first and fourteenth amendments; they don’t fit the new America the owners of the GOP want them to create. These un-Americans would remove the right to vote from anyone who would not vote for them. They would make Christianity our national religion in direct opposition to the intention of our founding fathers. Because the fourteenth amendment gives all Americans equal protection under the law, and defines citizenship, they would tear it up.
This is another action by a red state which proves that Donald Trump is representative of the GOP. He is their standard bearer, and for the first time the former once Grand Old Party is exposed for what it actually is today.
As for Texas, I do not understand why any black person, any Hispanic or any woman would live in a state which continually passes laws which adversely affect them. I believe that Texas should be allowed to secede from the union; we don’t need it. Any state which has no concern for its people is not one of the United States.
When you go to the polls in 2016, think carefully about which party wants to rule in a dictatorial manner, and who it will serve. The party of rich men and women will not be concerned with the needs of America’s working men and women. The GOP is the party of fear, anger and hatred; this is all they know. They have become extremists who choose not to effectively govern our nation with ideas and compromise; and they don’t know how.
