This is an open letter to all intelligent women pleading with them to ‘get the hell out of Texas.’ Your state’s extremist, racist, bigoted, and misogynist government is expanding the war against poor women. You have no hope of equal treatment in Texas. You must leave or endure a ‘sex-change’ operation.

Not only did state officials cease any and all funding for Planned Parenthood in Texas, they are adding additional problems for the organization which has helped millions of poor and low-income women with reproductive health concerns. The state’s government allows wealthy white women to do whatever they please, but this is not reciprocal for the poor and women of color.

Texas officials have issued subpoenas for Planned Parenthood clinics in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Although no one is allowed to officially divulge the purpose, someone inside the state office said that they wanted information about patient records and employee home addresses.

Isn’t this a direct violation of the fourth amendment, and HIPPA?

Someone has to face the truth; the rest of America doesn’t want Texas included in the United States. They have given us such unqualified and uncaring men as George W. Bush, Rick Perry, and Ted Cruz. We don’t need the state; it offers no value to the nation.

“The breadth and depth of what was requested this morning was unprecedented,” Wheat said. “Today’s visits were clearly politically motivated. We’re all pretty surprised by how far the (state) is willing to go to try to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers.”

No one should be surprised at the prejudicial intent of the government of the State of Texas. Whether it be its war on women, or its attempts to limit black men and women in their efforts to vote in elections, Texas is not a desirable state in which to reside.
