Judge’s Action’s are not that Surprising

Pennsylvania Supreme Court

FOX Noise and most of the GOP presidential candidates deny that blacks are treated differently than whites by law enforcement. They also deny that racism, bigotry, and misogyny are serious problems for our nation in the 21st century. Denial won’t make them go away, in fact the truth is that these serious problems are a growing concern for our nation. The ideal that is America is harmed by millions of men and women across our nation who live with prejudice.

It is disgusting to hear the leading GOP candidate spew racist and bigotry. Add to these damnable beliefs, the history of his treatment of women is deplorable. But Trump is in denial as well, and he has millions of followers who believe that he is right.

Another disgusting man who is in an authoritative position has been exposed for his immoral actions and words.

Justice J. Michael Eakin is a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice. He used a private e-mail account with the pseudonym ‘John Smith’ to send pornographic and racist material. Before I reveal some of the worst, don’t become too upset. This happens every day throughout corporate America, law enforcement agencies, and other institutions.

One e-mail revealed a topless woman with the caption: “Dear Abby: I’m an 18 year old girl from Arkansas and I’m still a virgin. Do you think my brothers are gay?” Another pictured a young woman ‘fellating’ a beer bottle and the caption: “True Love: Sometimes you know it the instant you see it across the bar.” The judge exchanged e-mails with several other state and federal officials, and not all of them were of a sexual nature.

Referring to a battered wife case, the judge suggested that she treat her wounds by ‘keeping her damn mouth shut.’ Another received by Eakin contained a video of a man in a truck picking of Latino day workers. He then drives them to immigration and suggested that he was ‘culling the herd so they don’t overpopulate.’

There were many, many more, including jokes about African Americans, and specifically President Obama.

Here’s the ‘kicker,’ and proof that evil exists and is growing in our nation.

An investigation of the e-mails and those who exchanged them had zero results. The Judicial Conduct Board did not find anything of a serious nature, and did not advise any form of punishment.

I may be a little crazy, but I expect certain professions to have a higher sense of dignity and morality than others. A state Supreme Court Justice fits that expectation. Such men as these are an embarrassment to our people and our nation, and to reward them with positions of power, fame, and wealth is unconscionable.

By the way, the woman who blew the whistle on these immoral actions was fired.
