Bush vs. Rubio: The End of Two Campaigns?

3rd Debate

Recently I finished an article about how Marco Rubio can look straight into a camera and blatantly lie to the American people. It is all true. Now an internal document created by upper level Jeb Bush campaign staff reveals not only additional information about Rubio, but also proves that desperation prevails in the Bush camp.

A power point document was offered to Bush campaign donors in Houston on October 25 and 26. A total of 112 slides were leaked and the damage to both candidates is undeniable. The video blasts Rubio for his claims that politicians of the past are responsible for our government’s failures today. It questions his lack of experience and offers a damning statement: “Those who have looked into the Marco’s background in the past have been concerned with what they have found.”

All this is undeniably true, but for the Bush campaign to focus on one candidate above all others demonstrates a fear that their man may have even more weaknesses than perceived by us, the politicos.

The film called Rubio the “GOP Obama.” It also once again questions his voting record and work ethic.

“This is the point that the Governor is making — it’s wonderful that Rubio wants to run for president, has every right to, voted him in for the Senate, only Republican senator from Florida. It’s vital that he be there for votes and intelligence committee meetings,” Florida Bush campaign consultant Helen Ferre Aguilar told ABC News.

Neither Bush nor Rubio wins with this type of campaign tactic. Rubio will be exposed for who he really is long before the convention. Bush has not separated himself from his brother’s failed presidency; quite the opposite, he defends his brother’s traitorous administration.

What is occurring in the GOP has never happened before in modern history. The party is engaged in an internal war which may ultimately destroy the GOP. Leadership is non-existent. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is to blame for the poor debates. The networks and moderators were selected by him and his staff. It is not surprising that he refuses to accept that responsibility.

John Boehner resigned from the House for multiple reasons. The bottom line is that he was unable to lead his party and effectively pass necessary legislation. He allowed less than 40 members of the House to create and air of obstructionism.

Mitch McConnell has fewer problems in the Senate, but he continues his attempts to coddle the TEA Party three, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz.

Cruz has been the worst and attacked the Senate Majority Leader on the floor. His actions prompted outgoing Speaker Boehner to call him a “jackass.”

While Bush continues to be focused on Rubio, Carson and Trump persist in having the numbers which place them in the lead for Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada.

GOP voters are unlikely to support these two totally unqualified men in a caucus or primary, but they are sending a message to those who work in Washington or support the past failures by their party.

Other than the loss of their party, the GOP has a bigger problem. They do not have a single qualified candidate to lead the nation. Sixteen men and one woman began the campaign season, and fifteen remain. They all want to live in the White House but remain in the dog house.
