Ted Cruz entire career in Washington has revealed his true persona. He’s similar to a spoiled child; when he doesn’t get his way he whines, but no one listens any longer. His extremist views are a danger to the American way of life. His agenda takes priority and he has little care how it affects the American people.

Cruz constantly attacks all Democrats without reservation, and has promised his ‘handlers’ to never compromise. But his attacks are not limited to the opposition, he has engaged in a war with his own Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. This prompted the Speaker of the House John Boehner to call him a “jackass.”

Cruz said that Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., “has proven to be a very effective Democratic leader.”

His complaint is the budget passed by the majority of both the House and Senate. He wanted to shut down the government, again, unless funding for Planned Parenthood was revoked. He didn’t get his way, and is complaining that Republicans compromised and did not follow the TEA Party’s lead.

Both houses are controlled by the GOP. The House voted 266-167 in favor, and the Senate 64-35. Cruz was in the minority, as always.

The fact that Cruz refuses to follow century’s old traditions and policies makes him unqualified to be our president. Although the two parties often disagree on the issues, deliberation and eventually compromise result in legislation which positively affects all of our nation’s people.

Cruz aligns himself with other extremists such as Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, and Ann Coulter. He would destroy the very fiber of our nation. His support of special interests without concern for the remaining 99 percent of our nation’s people is repulsive.

As the leader of the TEA Party, or Freedom Caucus, whatever they call themselves today, he encouraged the destruction of our government. He and his cronies seek a new America, a plutocracy, where the wealthy class decides what is best for its slaves.

The voters of Texas should be ashamed; they elected him and the rest of our nation is stuck with his extremist ideas. Cruz is an opportunist who will say and do anything to get elected. He has no morality and lacks any semblance of common sense or recognition of reality.
