Reince Priebus Selects Candidates

Priebus

Does anyone besides me believe that it is unfair to exclude any of the GOP candidates in their debates? I believe that RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is denying both the freedom of candidates not invited, but also performing a disservice to GOP voters. If they remain in the race, regardless of their polling numbers, they should be included in the discussion.

The Koch brothers control Priebus, and seek the nomination of a member of the TEA Party.

Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee have been uninvited from next week’s fourth faux-debate. It is obvious that Priebus is attempting to minimize the ‘clown car’ that was 2012, but he is not intelligent enough to know that this move is causing desperation, and desperation has increased the number and ferocity of their attacks on each other.

Trump began his campaign with attacks. Others, whose poll numbers were far lower saw no other alternative but to join in his tactic, specifically Jeb Bush and John Kasich.

To say that the entire GOP campaign is a farce is an understatement. The only thing that three faux-debates have proven is that none of the remaining fifteen has the qualifications to lead our nation. No one stands out. No one speaks about the issues important to most Americans. Several have been proven to be prevaricators. All have avoided any discussion of domestic issues.

Ben Carson says he has a plan to revamp our income tax system, but when it was revealed, it was proven to be unworkable and fantasy. Donald Trump claims that a costly ‘fence’ or ‘wall’ would solve all of our immigration problems, and that eleven-plus million people should be gathered and deported. Ted Cruz would defund Planned Parenthood, or force a government shutdown. In addition the junior Senator from Texas would repeal all social programs, but raise an already bloated defense bill. By example Marco Rubio would do nothing; the same action he takes in the Senate.

Priebus is not a leader. Why the politicians in the GOP continue to pay his salary confounds me. He is not in control of his party. He has failed to organize effective debates. He has made a serious mistake in judgement by not allowing GOP voters an opportunity to choose their candidate.
