Ted Cruz’ Most Dangerous Belief

Religious bigots

Senator Ted Cruz was speaking to a Christian gathering in Iowa. He told a cheering crowd that: “Any president who doesn’t begin every day on his knees isn’t fit to be commander-in-chief of this country.” I’m pretty sure he talking about Christians, and not Muslims, or some type of sexual practice, but with Cruz, who can be sure. If he’s correct, I, and millions like me, could never live in the White House.

While he was speaking he did point to one fact; atheist, liberals, and those who believe in the Constitution are attempting to take religion out of the government. It doesn’t belong in our daily lives unless we want it there. A government ruled by the fairy tales of religion would be in great peril.

This is the most dangerous thing about Cruz and Mike Huckabee; they would violate the first amendment and make Christianity our nation’s only religion. They don’t believe that all men and their beliefs are equal. They don’t believe in freedom for all Americans to practice the faith of their choice. This completely disqualifies Cruz and Huckabee from seeking the presidency. Our president must support and protect everyone whether they are Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or atheist. A president cannot ‘pick and choose’ who he or she represents.

Personally I resent Cruz; no one, no minister, and definitely no politician, is allowed to tell me what to do with my life. If I choose Satanism and Cruz was the president, he is obligated to support my belief.

Once again I must tell the truth; Cruz, Huckabee, and others in the GOP who claim to be Christians are not; they are Christians in name only. Christians are a label give to those who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. They do not; they have made up their own religious beliefs; in truth all religions were created by men, not by God.

Jesus Christ told his followers: “Judge not lest ye be judged.” Cruz is the most judgmental person in Washington, and by attempting to force his Christian fantasies on others he is displaying disrespect for the teachings of Jesus.

He also said: “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.” If Cruz believed this he would not accept the millions of dollars given to him by wealthy donors. He would join a monastery and spend his life on his knees.

In another He speaks of humility and true devotion: “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.”

One last one which points directly at Cruz; he needs to read this one several times: “For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?”

Cruz is filled with anger and even hatred. Once again, he is not a Christian; he is just another hypocrite who uses religion for personal gain. I would trust an atheist before I ever believed an ambitious faux-Christian.
