Friday night’s cowardly slaughter of innocent people in Paris must be condemned by everyone, and that includes Muslim leaders. They must speak out against extremists in their fold. No longer can silence by religious leaders be condoned.

This also applies to Christians who say nothing when a doctor who performs abortions or a nurse who assists him is killed by a fanatic.

Brutal attacks by misguided zealots performed in the name of religion is unforgivable. The time has come for all religious leaders to stand up and denounce all violence directed at innocent men, women, and children under the guise of religious fervor.

Politicizing tragic events must also be condemned. Immediately after the Paris attacks Newt Gingrich and Ben Carson attempted to use the tragedy for political gain. Morality and compassion were tossed aside for political expediency.

Newt Gingrich, who lost all credibility years ago, tweeted that the attacks would not have happened if the victims carried concealed weapons.

“Imagine a theater with 10 or 15 citizens with concealed carry permits. We live in an age when evil men have to be killed by good people,” Gingrich tweeted.

Other than being completely illogical, he is bowing to the NRA Lobby. Gingrich’s senility is shining through his ridiculous diatribe.

Presidential wannabee Ben Carson, speaking in Orlando, Florida, used the attacks as an opportunity to support his statements that the United States should not invite Middle East refugees.

“If we’re going to be bringing 200,000 people over here from that region — if I were one of the leaders of the global jihadist movement and I didn’t infiltrate that group of people with my people, that would be almost malpractice,” said Carson.

The history of the world is marred by violence. The majority of that violence was the result of Religious fanaticism. Members of ISIS are not devout Muslims. They are thugs and want to dominate the Mideast for their own purpose. They must be damned by true followers of Islam. Christian leaders in America must condemn those who attack others and procreate hatred in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus commanded His followers to love one another, and reserve judgement for God alone.

The world cannot continue to accept the hypocrisy which is today’s dominate religious philosophy. No longer can violence, prejudice, and hatred be acceptable to religious leaders. Religions were created by men to control men. When a religion is willing to accept evil in its name, it must be recognized and exposed.

All Americans; private citizens and our military; must be removed from all Muslim dominated nations. ISIS, Al Qaeda, and other destructive forces in the area are the responsibility of the leaders of Muslim nations. Their armies number in the millions, and the United States has no reason to interfere.

In the United States, those who compose the Christian religious right must be taxed if they continue to support a political party. Although the Constitution provides for religious freedom, it forbids the dominance of a single faith.

Evil executed in the name of religion is abominable; but it has been the history of the world. This must cease, and now.
