Bill O’Reilly and his employer, FOX News have many things in common. The most significant incidents both occurred this year. First FOX staged a faux-debate aimed at derailing front runner Donald Trump. It failed miserably and Trump’s poll numbers actually began to rise. This week O’Reilly proved himself to be a habitual liar. Continuously telling lies will eventually result in contradicting a previous falsehood.

I don’t believe that O’Reilly hates President Obama. But I do believe he loves his paycheck and his life of luxury, and therefore must continue to spread propaganda about Mr. Obama and Hillary Clinton. I know that he is a bigot and a racist, and about that there can be no denial, but I’m speaking to the choir.

O’Reilly continues to support the worst president in our nation’s history, George W. Bush, while condemning every action by our president today.

Yesterday O’Reilly joined his cronies and argued against the President and former Defense Secretary William Gates by claiming that American troops should be sent to fight ISIS. Both have pointed to the fact that our military has spent 14 years in the Middle East without accomplishing anything with the exception of the loss of over 6,000 lives, and bankrupting our nation. O’Reilly claimed that if ISIS attacked the United States during President Obama’s time in office that he would go “down as the worst president in U.S. history.” Interesting.

In 2004, he said that if Al Qaeda struck America Bush’s watch, he would be “reelected in a heartbeat.” Very interesting. O’Reilly has lost his last few IQ points, and now has an intellect equal to his hero, George W. Bush.

Earlier this year O’Reilly lost all credibility when it was discovered that he lied about all of his journalistic adventures both on his show and in his books. His most recent fairytale, “Killing Reagan” has been denounced by all Washington insiders who knew our 40^th president well as ‘mostly fiction.’

Here I go again displaying my old age and the fact that I am proud to be a curmudgeon, but I remember real news. The three major news networks, CBS, NBC, and ABC, all broadcast a one-half hour show which was truly about the news of the day; they did not offer personal opinions. There were no 24-hour news networks, fake or real; there wasn’t even a one-hour show available. That meant that Walter Cronkite, Edward R. Murrow, Huntley and Brinkley, and the others, had to know what they were talking about and deliver the information succinctly and fluently.

The truth is that none of the networks would have broadcast the news at all unless it had been a requirement to retain their broadcast license. Those half-hour shows did not have advertisers. They lost money. Today’s ‘pretend news shows’ make more money than any of the other programs available on their networks.

FOX Noise’ entertainers are perfect examples of the ‘news’ today. It does not have one legitimate journalist. Every ‘news’ story is slanted to the right; some so far that they nearly fall flat on their a**es.

All of the mainstream media fail to report all of the news, even when they are on the air for two or more hours, and maybe even 24 hours. They dwell on sensationalism, instead of substance.

The only news show I watched in the past was Brian Williams. Because he misspoke, he is no longer on the network. Now all my ‘real’ news comes from the internet, and most frequently from the foreign press.

I titled my blog “The Truth With No Restriction” for a reason.
