Mike Huckabee disqualified himself from obtaining the GOP nomination for the presidency when he revealed himself as a religious extremist. He would only support a single special interest group, the Christian religious right.

After the tragic deaths surrounding a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, Huckabee labeled the incident ‘domestic terrorism.’ He is partially correct; it was the action of a terrorist. Now that it is revealed that the perpetrator was against abortion, and this was his reason for the assault on innocent people, Huckabee must admit that Robert Lewis Dear may have been a Christian terrorist.

Extremism does not belong to Muslims alone. Throughout the world there are Christian groups who commit atrocities not dissimilar to ISIS. In the United States we have several, the best known are the Aryan Brotherhood, and the Ku Klux Klan. Huckabee must become educated and learn that not all Muslims are killers, and not all Christians are saints.

The first word in the Bible for many of America’s pretend Christians is ‘denial.’ They deny the validity of any other religion, and deny the words of Jesus Christ. They have made up their own rules and denied the teachings of their God.

A good lesson for most Americans is that our founding fathers had but a single Christian in their midst. The vast majority did not believe in religion as practiced by those in the United States today. In the first amendment they guaranteed the people of the new nation that there would never be a ‘national religion,’ and that all men were free to practice the religion of their choice without reservation.

Jefferson, Washington, Madison, Franklin and the majority were ‘Deists.’ They believed that some form of deity created the heavens and earth, but did not involve his or herself with the daily lives of humans. He or she also never spoke directly to the men and women living in our nation or anywhere else on the earth.

Nice try Huckabee; I understand what you were attempting, but the facts speak for themselves. You are a religious zealot; you are a dangerous man.
