Every GOP presidential wannabee denounced President Obama’s speech in Paris. Mr. Obama pointed to the fact that climate change is the greatest danger to the world. Because the GOP does not believe in facts or science, they were quick to attack Mr. Obama and make idiotic remarks. Their support of big business over the future of our planet will destroy it and everyone living on it.

Although 95 percent of the world’s scientists who study the environment are positive that climate change is caused by man, the GOP is the only group in the developed world which denies the truth.

The GOP candidates claim that ISIS is the greatest danger to our nation and the world. ISIS does not have aircraft, missiles, or submarines. ISIS can be defeated in the Middle East if the world joins together and makes the decision to destroy them. Climate change cannot be defeated; we can only hope to slow its affect.

Members of the GOP have attempted to distract the American people from the truth with the use of theatrics. The truth is climate change means more severe storms of all types, including snow. It also causes heat and drought, and the rise of the ocean as glaciers continue to melt. But denial continues to be their main tactic. They are protecting the polluters who seek increased profits; changing the way they produce material might cost a small percentage of that profit to be use for something of value.

Carly Fiorina called President Obama and Hillary Clinton ‘delusional’ for their claim that climate change is the greatest threat to national security. She claims it is ISIS. Really? She has just revealed the fact that she knows nothing about foreign relations and is therefore unqualified to lead our nation.

Religious extremist Mike Huckabee also criticized President Obama’s speech, and at the same time denied the teachings of the Bible. Jesus Christ commanded his followers to care for the poor and his Father’s creation; the earth. Another phony faux-Christian.

Chris Christie remains in the race for the GOP nomination, but I don’t know why. He is so far down in the polls that he has no chance of finding his way up. He also denied that climate change exists, and attacked the President and Ms. Clinton saying “, that’s what these guys are. Often wrong but never in doubt.”

Trump made a statement through his lead counsel, Michael Cohen:

“At the end of the day we’re talking about Christians getting their heads chopped off. There was a photo of a Christian woman who was killed by having a cross basically rammed through her head. We have our president off somewhere talking about climate change,” Cohen said.

These are the choices presented to the American people by the GOP. It’s very, very sad that they could not find at least one candidate with an average IQ.

I feel sorry for my Republican friends who have been loyal for decades to a once Grand Old Party. Today’s GOP is not the party of Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt. It has no ideas, it is destructive, and it has no concern for the majority of Americans. Once great men sat in the seats on the right side of the aisle; today these same seats are occupied by ambitious and unqualified buffoons. The biggest buffoon of all wants to live in the White House; Really!
