To Jeb Bush: Time to Withdraw

Jeb

Would Jeb Bush be the best choice for the GOP nomination? If the distractions created by buffoon Donald Trump did not exist, what would his poll numbers be at this time? Has the GOP standard policy of attack ads and rhetoric destroyed its own party and its future?

These and other questions surround the passengers in the clown car. As of this week, the Quinnipiac poll reveals that the front runners are Trump with 27 percent, Marco Rubio 17 percent, and Ben Carson and Ted Cruz with 16 percent. Bust received on five percent.

When Vice-President Joe Biden announced that he would not be in the running for the Democratic nomination, he said that primary reason was time and organization. Bush has had an organization up and running for months, but he’s running out of time. He is losing supporters as a result of poll numbers which fail to rise.

Before Jeb made the mistake of supporting all of his older brother’s actions during his administration, I was interested in hearing his opinions regarding the issues. Now I realize that he has nothing original to offer. He would institute the same foreign and domestic policies which failed our nation and the working class. We would be at war in the Middle East; Wall Street would once again be allowed to run amok; and ‘trickle down’ economics would increase income inequality.

The bottom line; Bush is too conservative for the extremists in today’s GOP. Radicals now control the party which has lost its collective description as ‘Republicans.’ No longer does the party of George H.W. Bush exist. Good government has been replaced by the desires of special interests. (Read my article titled “Bush 41 Remembered”).

It’s time for Jeb Bush to cease wasting time and money; his time is up. Fully aware of Bush arrogance, I’m certain he will remain in contention through February when the Iowa and Nevada caucuses, and the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries are completed. Losing badly in all four will make him ‘see the light’ and bow out not so gracefully.
