A thank you note has been sent to GOP legislators; it has come from the gun lobby called the NRA. Although this group once supported sensible use of rifles, it is now nothing but an agent of gun manufacturers and gun sellers.

Marco Rubio must write the NRA a thank you note for supporting him in his campaign to become the leader of the free world. Sadly, if he was elected, it would no longer be free for the majority of Americans.

I don’t want to call Rubio names, but the reality is that he is an overly ambitious young man who seeks an office for which he has no talent, and no qualifications. He has become obsessed with the Koch brothers and other supporters of the TEA Party and actually believes that he has the qualities to lead our nation.

After the tragic event in San Bernardino, President Obama revealed the fact that the ‘terrorist watch list’ collected by the FBI has no attached restriction prohibiting gun purchase. Approximately 50,000 of them cannot fly on commercial airlines, but they can buy assault rifles.

Marco Rubio bowed to the NRA, claiming that the ‘system’ was at fault.

“You’re talking about denying people a Second Amendment Constitutional right because the federal government made a mistake and there is no due process by which you can go and get your name removed.” In other words he is saying that although a few who are on the ‘no-fly’ list have been placed there erroneously, they should be protected and the safety of the American people ignored.

The GOP claims that they are concerned with Syrian refugees; that some of them may have ties to ISIS. But they are not concerned with thousands of suspected terrorists already living in the United States who can walk into a gun store and legally purchase assault rifles and high-output magazines similar to those used in San Bernardino’s cowardly slaughter. Hypocrites.

Stop spinning the truth Rubio. We are learning more about you every day. You fail to address questions and twist words to avoid the facts. You are lazy, unaccomplished, and a servant of the Koch brothers. Your ambition far exceeds your ability.

“I don’t want to hear anything more about the president talking about gun control,” Rubio said.

I can’t help but wonder how much money the NRA is contributing to his campaign, but it must be considerable. Rubio ‘can’t handle the truth,’ he doesn’t want anyone who has facts to speak about his precious gun lobby. He would rather see innocent Americans die than for the gun industry to lose any portion of their profits. He does not represent the American people, he represents ten percent of the people who live in our nation; the gun owners.

How many times can GOP presidential wannabees reveal themselves as unfit presidential candidates? They openly state that they would not represent all of our nation’s people; special interests and the one-percent would own America. They already own one political party, but they won’t own me.
