Rubio rejects the idea of allowing Syrian refugees into our nation for fear that one of them might have been radicalized by ISIS. However, he approves the sale of assault rifles to those already living in the United States, are suspected of terrorism and are on the ‘no-fly’ list. He said he doesn’t believe these people would attempt to buy guns, when the facts are that over 2,200 of them have already purchased weapons of mass destruction. Think about this carefully; he supports the NRA and the sale of guns to United States citizens who are suspected of ties to terrorist organizations. The assault rifles used in San Bernardino were purchased legally.

“They shouldn’t be used as a tool to impede 700,000 Americans or potential Americans — people on that list from having access to be able to fully utilize their Second Amendment rights,” Rubio told CNN’s Jake Tapper. Really?

Rubio is a hypocrite and a supporter of special interests. He has no concern about the safety of the American people. He is an ambitious underachiever who would be a danger to the future of our nation. His tactics appear to be ignorance and the denial of reality.

Added to his rejection of any gun control, this man who lives in his own little world continues to tell blatant lies, and spins the truth offering his constituents misleading information.

He cited a bogus AP article claiming that the NSA closed down mega-data gathering sites which hindered the FBI’s investigation of the San Bernardino killers. A complete falsehood.

In addition, and although he, himself, is an Islamophobic, he made this statement: “Where is there widespread evidence that we have a problem in America with discrimination against Muslims?” Does he listen to Trump and his supporters? Does he know what the internet is?

The only chance Rubio has to win his party’s presidential nomination is to stop talking. If he continues to lie and distort the truth about facts which are available to all people, he will be exposed for what he is; nothing more than an ambitious politician.
