The TEA Party was created by the Koch brothers with one intention; remake the United States into a country controlled by billionaires. It may be working. This group of traitors succeeded in destroying our government in Washington, and securing votes through fear and hatred.

The TEA Party, or Freedom Caucus, whatever they call themselves today, is succeeding. They have convinced millions of Americans that giving up their freedoms will keep them safe from terrorists. However, they continue to support unrestricted sales of assault rifles and high-output magazines which are responsible for more deaths than by terrorists. They deny the need for drastic changes in the policies of law enforcement. They blocked the ‘Violence Against Women Act’ in Congress. They support the ‘rights’ of suspected terrorists already living inside the United States to purchase lethal weapons.

The primary target of the TEA Party is the elimination of our most precious law; the first amendment. They seek to remove our right to freedom of speech, institute Christianity as our national religion, and deny freedom of the press.

If you don’t believe that they are succeeding, read the following test which occurred recently at Yale University.

Ami Horowitz is a political satirist and filmmaker. He arrived at Yale’s campus with a petition to repeal the first amendment. When he left the university grounds, he had obtained 50 signatures; here are some of the comments by students.

“Fantastic,” “love it,” “I’ll sign for you, guys.”

“I think it is fantastic. I absolutely agree,” said one guy, while another commented: “I appreciate what you are trying to do.”

“Brilliant,” “love it,” “I totally agree” and “…great.”

“I thought if I got two or three signatures, maybe I can do something with that. But then I thought it is not really going to work. But then I realized that the majority of kids I spoke with were signing away the most precious fundamental right that America has. It shocked me and I have to say it really saddened me,” Horowitz said.

If this doesn’t frighten you, you don’t believe in America. If you support the second amendment and at the same time support the repeal of the first and fourth, you support the extremists on the right who would destroy the very fabric which once made our nation the greatest country in the world.

Lies and misdirection have proven successful for the TEA Party and other ambitious politicians who seek the destruction of America for their own ambitions.

The TEA Party formerly used the slogan ‘take back America.’ The truth is that they wish to be the force for its demise.

I say take back America and vote them out of office. It’s up to you. If the nation created by our founding fathers fails, it’s your fault. The only weapon you possess is your right to vote, and that’s the next amendment they will repeal.
