If you didn’t watch the Democratic debate Saturday evening, you missed two things; there was a real debate regarding the issues, and the truth was told; Donald Trump is the most effective recruiter for the terrorist group ISIS.

Hillary Clinton said: “He is becoming ISIS’s best recruiter. They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists,” she proclaimed. The truth of the claim could not be verified and neither camp would comment, according to ABC News.

She continued: “I worry greatly that the rhetoric coming from the Republicans, particularly Donald Trump, is sending a message to Muslims here in the United States and literally around the world that there is a clash of civilizations… that there is some kind of Western plot or even war against Islam, which then I believe fans the flames of radicalization.”

Who is at the core of Islamophobia? It’s a simple answer, but you’ll never hear the truth from the mainstream media; it’s politically incorrect.

The first amendment of the Bill of Rights was considered by our founding fathers as the most important of our nation’s freedoms. The amendment ‘prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.’

Possibly the critical right expressed by our forefathers is the freedom of religion. Their primary reason for leaving England was based on religious intolerance. England had decreed that the Anglican Church would be the nation’s only official religion.

The GOP is married to the Christian religious right; not because they are devout Christians, but for the hope of obtaining votes. Ted Cruz may win the Iowa Caucuses simply because of the support of Evangelists. Presidential hopefuls Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz seek a violation of the first amendment and follow the example of England and institute Christianity as our national religion. In turn they have denounced all Muslims as evil and violent. The religious right endorses them.

The Christian religious right is responsible for the rise of bigotry and racism in our nation. Their ambition to become a powerful force in our nation’s political system has nourished fear, hatred, and ignore understanding and tolerance; all against the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Ms. Clinton is 100 percent correct. ISIS has a goal to have a war in the Middle East between Christians and Muslims. Increasing fear tactics have empowered those on the right to label all Muslims in a negative manner. This is another goal of ISIS. These ignorant actions allow ISIS to radicalize more Muslims who would never consider violence until provoked by the words of buffoons such as Trump, who would eliminate the religion of Islam, a claim continued to be voiced by ISIS.

Trump is an ignorant man. He never thinks before he opens his mouth, and when he speaks he spreads hatred and encourages violence.

There is no way I could imagine an anti-American such as Trump living in the White House.
