Man’s greatest weakness is thought and action as the result of emotions. When any individual or nation is ruled by emotional bondage, there can be only one result; destruction. Donald Trump is leading in the GOP polls because he is using the weakness of his followers. He is encouraging fear and hatred, which has but a single conclusion; violence.
Just a few days ago a 55-year-old Richmond, California, man was arrested. Police received a tip that he was manufacturing homemade bombs and was planning to use them to attack the Muslim community. This may be a rude awakening for Trump, but terrorism is not the sole property of jihadist extremists.
Trump’s denigration of the entire Muslim community is vile, fallacious, and is creating additional dangers for the citizens of the United States. Hillary Clinton was 100 percent correct in Saturday night’s debate when she said that ‘Trump is ISIS’ number one recruiter.’ He is just stupid enough to play right into their hands. Creating distrust between Muslims and Christians will aid recruitment and a modern day holy war will ensue.
Ted Cruz’ and Carly Fiorina’s false claims about Planned Parenthood encouraged a mentally deranged man to attack a clinic in Colorado. The result; three innocent Americans dead at the hands of one of their own. It was clearly an act of terrorism.
The only way that a Republican can win an election is through the use of fear tactics. ISIS is not the most dangerous enemy to our people; we and our politicians are. Mass shootings, domestic violence, inadequate health care, and an increasing poverty level are far more dangerous to the lives of our people. Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are dangerous; they incite hatred and violence. A divided nation cannot stand, and right wing politicians have succeeded in dividing our nation to a degree unheard of since the Civil War.
If anyone has average intelligence and listens to the debates from both sides, it is obvious that one party is using emotional weaponry in an attempt to receive votes. The other side is talking about the issues and offering concrete solutions.
Donald Trump hates the American people and has supported every violent action taken on his behalf. I never thought that anyone in the political arena could be more traitorous than Dick Cheney. How wrong I was.
