Republican Spin Doctors Protecting Bush and Cheney

Aftermath

Recent revelations by former CIA hierarchy have added new allegations to the failed administration of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. The truth cannot be hidden, but once again Republican leadership is attempting to divert attention and inaccurately blame President Obama for everything bad which happens to America.

The American people now have the facts. The tragedy that was 9/11 could have been prevented. CIA experts offered their most serious warnings to Bush and Cheney before the attacks occurred. However, they had already planned their vacations. They were ignored. All of the world is now aware that Bush and Cheney manipulated the ‘facts’ about Iraq’s participation in terrorist activity, which allowed them to invade a sovereign nation.

“There is, of course, a sad irony that a White House filled with people who frequently charge the George W. Bush administration with manipulating intelligence on the region now stand accused of the same thing,” David Karl writes in The Diplomat, referring to the recent reports.

The former was written by a Republican spin doctor who is attempting to claim that President Obama is misleading the public about ISIS and anti-terrorism tactics.

The truth is that the Republican Party is exaggerating the immediate danger to the American people from foreign entities, and failing to inform their supporters that recently 34 Arab Nations have signed an agreement to defeat ISIS. They also fail to address the possible danger of more than 20,000 individuals living in the United States who are on the FBI terrorist watch list.

The American people cannot allow the Republican Party to use half-truths or blatant falsehoods to obtain seats in the House or Senate; and none of them must be allowed to live in the White House.

Vote, but vote based on reliable information. Please do not vote for a candidate simply based on party affiliation; our nation cannot afford to allow more unqualified people to control the future of our nation.
