I read an article in a conservative blog which claims to expose statements made by liberals. It is about as well-known as my own, but at least mine is devoted to the truth.
Michael Moore is releasing a new documentary called “Where to Invade Next.” It is not about life in the United States, rather it reveals the lives of Europeans. He points to the facts of why our nation is no longer the greatest nation in the world and is behind most other developed nations.
Here are the facts which conservatives don’t want you to know.
The United States ranks 14th in education, which means that future generations will experience increased poverty as the middle class completely disappears. The top ten countries are; South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Finland, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Poland.
America ranks 19th in satisfaction with our government. Only 33 percent of all Americans polled are happy with the way things are going in our nation.
Fifty-one nations were rated in relation to ‘health care efficiency.’ The United States ranked 44th. ‘Efficiency’ was defined as life expectancy and health care costs per capita. The top ten are: Singapore, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Israel, France, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
Fourteen countries were ranked for their ‘ignorance.’ The criteria included general ignorance about social statistics such as teen pregnancy, unemployment rates, and voting patterns. The United States ranked second; only Italy had a worse rating.
Sixteen countries ranked ahead of the people of our nation in rating President Obama. They were more informed about the facts surrounding his presidency than our own citizens, and gave him a higher favorability rating.
Out of 162 countries, the U.S. ranks 101st in peace. Our nation was considered by most as ‘warlike.’
Gender equality is a huge issue for our nation. The United States is ranked 23rd around the world. The top four are all Scandinavian countries: Iceland, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
The list is long and can be read from the link.
Our nation is lacking in many areas, but we are number one in the incarceration of perceived criminals. Out of 34 nations, America has the most inmates. There are 710 men and women in our prisons for every 100,000 people. The average is 115.
Here are a few of the angry and misinformed comments made by brainwashed conservatives about Moore’s documentary.
“This disgusting pig is the absolute example of irresponsible capitalism. Making a dollar off of what he pretends to hate. A pig in real life. A disgusting bucket of putrid fat, with no self control. A simpleton trying to inject himself into a conversation. Bah”
“And Moore, since you are in Europe, among the society you wish we were, just tear up your return ticket and STAY THERE! ……..moron.”
“The single women who nearly all rely on Uncle Sugar for one thing or another; they’ll always vote for the Democrat Santa for their “free” stuff. “I am woman hear me roar; I make my own choices, but need someone else to pay for them”, pfft.”
“If the GOP is dead how come the youngest candidates for President are Republican and the oldest ones are Democrats. If anyone is closest to death it is the Democrats by decades.”
There were many, many more, and they all prove one thing; Republicans can only get votes by creating fear, which becomes anger, and finally hatred. Their supporters are filled with venom and are unable to seek the truth as emotions control their lives.
The fact that these people believe that any of the GOP candidates are qualified to lead all of our nation’s people disappoints me.
