Millions of Americans have moved backwards into our nation’s history. Now don’t believe that they have any understanding of the real condition or the safety and welfare of our nation’s people in past times, they are simply fools who want to play cowboy.

Thanks to GOP extremists who support the NRA while failing to display concerns for the safety of innocent Americans, we now have more gun nuts openly displaying guns and creating additional fear for sensible and normal Americans.

As of December 30, the year 2015 became the most dangerous and deadly year in America. There were 353 mass shootings and 457 deaths. In San Bernardino, 14 people lost their lives, and the media replayed the cowardly attacks continuously. All around our nation innocent citizens living their normal lives died by use of a gun, and the media decided that they were not sensational enough to satisfy their advertisers.

Texas, who lags slightly behind Alabama as our most racist, bigoted, and ignorant state, has decided to escalate the discussion regarding sensible gun legislation by encouraging its residents to openly carry firearms.

Texas has 826,000 registered handgun owners; there is no estimate how many actually possess lethal weapons. The can now openly display their lethal toys and compensate for their lack of masculinity. The only question Governor Greg Abbott is concerned with is if law enforcement should challenge individuals who are openly displaying their manhood and ask to see their permits.

State legislators supported the change in Texas’ law. They see no reason why their state shouldn’t openly display the fact that they have already moved backwards into the 1850’s. The only difference is that these wannabee cowboys will be driving gas guzzling trucks instead of riding environmentally friendly horses.

Once again I must ask: “Why would any intelligent man or woman choose to live in Texas?” The state is racist, bigoted, homophobic, and misogynist. Only Republican white men and women are welcome in the state’s borders. It is owned by the petroleum industry, and the poverty level is deplorable.

The truth about Texas is that the United States has no use for its products, etc. If it was not part of our union, we wouldn’t have had to endure eight years of George W. Bush, or have been embarrassed by Rick, (I never turned down a drink), Perry.

Greg Abbott is an extension of the past two governors, and that is definitely not a compliment.

Personally, I can’t wait to read on the internet when a gun battle between drunken wannabee cowboys occurs. I will join the NRA and cheer for a large body count. It couldn’t happen to a finer state.
