We now Know that George was the Smarter Brother

Jeb

Because our 43rd president continually proved that he was less than the most intellectual president in our history, most of us assumed that his younger brother, Jeb, was the intelligent son of our 41st president. This campaign season has proven all of us horribly mistaken.

“But for Barack Obama, Donald Trump’s effect would not be nearly as strong as it is,” Bush said. Really?

We have become aware that Jeb has no concept of what it means to become the President of the United States, but now we know he has no knowledge of political history. The creation of the Trump phenomena began during his brother’s administration. Those on the extreme right in the Republican Party began a change which moved the entire party to become ‘reactionaries.’ His penchant for war, and his failed economic policies forced changes within the once Grand Old Party.

Enter the TEA Party. A weakened Republican Party, as a result of an administration that nearly destroyed our nation, made it possible for a new party to exercise control over the GOP. Obstructionism became the norm. The voting public sought for a way to express their extreme displeasure. When GOP candidates began to announce their intentions for 2016, the electorate was not impressed. Enter Donald Trump. Supporting Trump is a protest against the failure of the GOP to accomplish anything of importance in Washington.

But why should Jeb be any different than his constituents? Lies and tales of fantasy dominate the 12 passengers in the clown car. It has no driver; it’s not going anywhere anyway. It has no direction, and is fueled by fear and hatred, which won’t take it very far.

The one thing the Republican Party does well is lie, and then deny. They are responsible for their own problems. The Koch brothers have skillfully infected their midst, while effective leadership is non-existent.

Jeb is wrong, and Jeb is a loser. Personally, I’m grateful. Our nation cannot afford a less-intelligent Bush leading the world from the Oval Office. One was disastrous enough.
