Ted Cruz has obviously never opened a history book or read the Constitution. He claims to be a lawyer, but does not have sufficient knowledge of the law, or the law of the land. His problem is that the only book he reads is the Bible; and then only passages which appear to affirm his personal extremist beliefs. His lack of intellect poses a great danger to our nation; he must not be allowed to live in the White House.

Several upcoming decisions by the Supreme Courts next session may have an effect on the 2016 election. Ted Cruz is afraid of some or all of these not ‘going his way,’ and is once again complaining that things might be satisfactory to him.

Our forefathers created a ‘check and balance system’ for our nation’s government. Although they knew that the executive branch, the President, and the legislative branch, Congress, would be involved with politics and debate, the judicial branch, the Supreme Court, was to be impartial. The Court’s only purpose was to decide if legislation followed the guidelines of the Constitution. Unfortunately, a corrupt political system has voided the intentions of our founding fathers. There needs to be only one example of this fact. In 2010 a right wing, politically biased John Roberts led Supreme Court, upheld Citizens United which gave corporations ‘personhood.’

Regardless, Ted Cruz is one of those spoiled children who must have everything his way. He lacks the ability to negotiate or accept decisions of any other politician or the Court. He believes that the American people are no more than puppets, and he wants to pull the strings.

Discussing the Court’s decision, regarding same-sex marriage in which it upheld the 14^th amendment, with radical evangelicals in Iowa, this was Cruz’ complaint.

“You know, we have a Supreme Court right now that is an activist, fundamentally illegitimate court,” he told an audience in Rock Rapids, Iowa, on Wednesday.

I don’t believe that Cruz can be educated; he chooses not to know the facts and will not accept the truth about anything which is not aligned with his opinions.

Ted Cruz is not an American. I’m not talking about Trump’s ‘birther’ claims, I’m referring to his attitude regarding American principles and the law of the land. He would repeal the first amendment and institute Christianity as our national religion. He would reverse all social programs beneficial to the working class. His supporters, the Koch brothers, would double their wealth in the first year as millions of families slipped into poverty. He would veto every piece of legislation based on personal beliefs and not the wishes and needs of the American people. He would only appoint Supreme Court justices who were Christian extremists. Cruz would become a dictator.

I want to hear Cruz’ complaints when other issues are decided this year. Most of them would favor conservatives and refuse to recognize the rights of the many for the wishes of the few. If these decisions are slanted to the right, will he complain then? Not very likely.

Cruz is a dangerous Trump. As president, Trump would continue to be a fool and anything but a leader. Cruz would become an even more radicalized Christian and lead our nation into the dark ages. He would only represent ten-percent of the American people. (Please re-blog.)
