Trump Will Benefit from Boycotting FOX Fake Debate

you are fired

On October 7, 1996 an already failing media received additional disgrace when Rupert Murdoch launched a right wing propaganda machine and misnamed it “FOX News.” Through lies, half-truths, and misdirection it began to divide our nation. GOP voters were convinced that all Democrats, all liberals, were evil and they hated America. Although the opposite was true, uninformed and uneducated viewers believed what the saw and heard on the network.

On February 1, 2010, Megyn Kelly was given a time slot on FOX Noise. She immediately became Roger Ailes’, the President of FOX Noise, favorite stooge. Although she previously had some minor success as a real journalist, she quickly sold out to the fake news network. It is reported that her net salary with FOX is $6 million per year.

Although the media has not been honest in their reporting of the first FOX debate, I will relate the facts to you. Reince Priebus, the Chairman of the RNC, and Roger Ailes conspired to derail Donald Trump on August 6, 2015. From the very first question which asked all candidates if they would take an oath not to run as a third party candidate, it was obvious that the evening was an orchestrated attack against Trump with Kelly as its leader. The questions were more personal than substantive, and FOX once again embarrassed itself and proved that it was not qualified to be labeled a ‘news network.’

The effort by Republican hierarchy backfired and the following day Trump’s poll numbers rose. The remainder is history.

I am not a Trump supporter, and never will be, but his decision to boycott Thursday night’s second FOX Noise debate was fair and likely a calculation to further his support among GOP voters. He asked only one thing before he declined to attend; that Megyn Kelly not be allowed to be one of the moderators. Considering the first debacle, he was only asking for ‘fair and balanced’ treatment.

There is little doubt that this seventh fake debate would have consisted of more attacks on Trump. I believe that it was more important for him to stand his ground than to succumb to the demands of the Republican Party and its partner FOX Noise. He had nothing to gain.

The interesting item of note is that the Republican establishment’s second least favorite candidate is Ted Cruz. Will he now become the focal point of Thursday evening’s entertainment broadcast? Will desperation by those with low poll numbers result in Trump’s absence becoming inconsequential? Will Cruz now be the target of those who have no hope of obtaining the GOP nomination?

This is what I believe. Because the previous six sideshows had no resemblance to an actual debate, Trump would gain nothing by participating in an ineffectual show by FOX Noise. The desperation of the RNC would continue to wage attacks against the party’s leader and representative with the assistance of Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes. The exposure of FOX will sway many right wing voters, and will guarantee the destruction of both the GOP and FOX Noise. Trump will be victorious, and the extremist factions in the Republican Party will destroy the GOP completely.
