Every accusation against Ted Cruz about his lack of ethics is true. He wants to be your president at any cost and will use every method at his disposal to achieve that goal.
Cruz is sending out a new mailer, a continuation of the ruse he used in Iowa to win the Republican caucus. This one appears to be from Cruz’ Senate office. Very small letters state that it is for personal use and no taxpayer dollars were used. On the bottom it tells the recipient ‘Check Enclosed.’
The ‘check’ inside is not real, and it’s made out to Ted Cruz. An accompanying letter asks for a donation, which will be matched by other donors. The remainder is filled with campaign promises and attacks against the Obama Administration. Oh that clever little devil.
Donald Trump and Ben Carson charged Cruz with cheating his way to a victory in Iowa. It appears that they may be correct.
“Inflammatory passion and selfish interest characterizes most men, whereas ambition characterizes men who pursue and hold national office. Such men rise from the people through a process of self-selection, since politics is a dirty business that discourages all but the most ambitious.” Tom Cotton
Cruise is attempting to mask his extremism, but his record speaks for itself. His ‘accomplishments’ are all negative; shutting down the government and continually seeking the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. He lacks the endorsement of a single other Senator primarily because of his failure to ‘play nice with others.’
As of today, Cruz is in fourth place in tomorrow’s New Hampshire primary. He trails Trump, Rubio, and Kasich. If he finishes ahead of Rubio or Kasich, the next Republican debate in South Carolina may become a focused attack on Cruz instead of Trump.
