It is a fact that FOX Noise is not a true ‘news network.’ They employ personalities, not journalists. There is an internal war within the right wing propaganda network between its number one star, Bill O’Reilly, and its rising star who received an assist from Donald Trump, Megyn Kelly. Then there’s the man who is in a distant third place and is desperate to increase his ratings; Sean Hannity.
The following is an exchange between Hannity and John Kasich on the entertainer’s radio show.
“JOHN KASICH: Part of the problem was we got in the middle of a civil war because we thought Saddam had weapons of mass destruction–
SEAN HANNITY (HOST): I still think he did.
KASICH: Pardon?
HANNITY: I still think he did. I think he got them out in the lead up to the war. And I think he brought them to Syria.
KASICH: Well, you know, maybe he did, but the fact is — you know, look, the fact is that if — well you say he had them, I don’t know. There’s no evidence to say he had them.” Really?
So, let me get this straight; Hannity supports the actions of the Bush Administration. Is he an idiot or just a desperate media celebrity?
Just yesterday when Donald Trump visited ‘CBS This Morning,’ he was the first member of the GOP to openly state that removing Saddam Hussein from power was a serious mistake. He said that the action taken by the invasion of Iraq aided in the growth of terrorism in the Middle East, destabilized the region, and increased the influence of Iran. He was not wrong. ISIS exists today because of the Iraq civil war.
Hannity and his ‘brother from another mother,’ Rush Limbaugh are the most extreme of the right wing media. They both obviously have goals to make the most outrageous statements possible, and they’re doing an excellent job.
Is there any wonder why FOX’ ratings are slipping?
