Exposing the Shameful Republican Debate in South Carolina

Priebus

I may criticize the media constantly, but that’s only because they deserve it. They fail to tell the truth; only reporting what politicians want them to. Donald Trump was at the center of both media failure, and another effort by mainstream Republicans to derail his campaign at the ‘debate’ in South Carolina Saturday evening.

If you are not someone who gets all of his or her information from television, and actually reads, you know that Donald Trump was telling the truth about both 9/11, and the invasion of Iraq. Former upper echelon FBI and CIA agents exposed the truth about Bush and Cheney’s failures. They ignored a warning of an imminent attack prior to 9/11. They also reported accurately that it was ‘highly unlikely’ that Saddam Hussein was harboring weapons of mass destruction. The media would like you to forget about all of it in their support for the former and failed president responsible for everything wrong with our nation and the world today.

When Trump made remarks about Bush or the Bush family, the crowd booed loudly; frequently before he said his first word. Trump turned to the audience and said ‘I know that you are all Bush supporters and contributors, and that’s okay.’ It turns out that he was 100 percent correct.

The majority of tickets given for Saturday night’s event were offered to members of the RNC; mainstream Republicans who support Bush and Rubio. Even Rush Limbaugh, who supports the most extreme candidate of all, Ted Cruz, chimed in on the outrageous effort by the party.

“[Trump] didn’t even have to say anything. He just opened his mouth, a couple of syllables and here came the boos. And it did appear to distract him off the point that he was getting ready to make,” said Limbaugh. “I’ve never seen anything like that, that I can recall watching intraparty debates. I’ve never seen it on the Democrat side. I mean, I’ve heard a smattering of boos, but I’ve not seen a whole audience stacked for the expressed purpose. And it was done specifically to make it look like no Republicans in South Carolina like Trump. They didn’t tell you the audience was a bunch of donors. They didn’t tell you the audience was a bunch of people that support amnesty.”

He didn’t stop there; he continued to shame Reince Priebus and his RNC.

“The [TV] audience was supposed to assume that in South Carolina, the Republican Party hates Trump. That’s what they were trying to create, and [Trump] knew it,” said Limbaugh.

Here’s the bottom line; Trump is smarter than all of the other candidates combined. He is a businessman who understands how those in opposition attempt to undermine each other’s positions. Although he is not a true politician, he is far better at the game than those who have held or are holding office.

If you read me, you know that I don’t believe in political parties; they create ineffective and corrupt government. However, that said, if I were a member of the Republican Party, I would be very ashamed of how they are conducting this year’s campaign. Not a single qualified candidate has been offered to those who are loyal to their party. Of the six remaining passengers in the clown car, two have never held public office at any level; two are members of the United States Senate, but have no experience and no credentials or accomplishments to their credit; the other two are Kasich, the current Governor of Ohio, and Jeb Cruz, the former Governor of Florida. We must only look back to 2001-2009 to see how well Republican presidents who were former governors work out for the nation.

This underhanded effort by the RNC will once again strengthen Trump’s position. His poll numbers in South Carolina are rising.
