Ted Cruz released his tax plan for the future of America. He appears to be more of a libertarian than a conservative. He revealed measures which would decrease revenue for the nation, and his proposal would result in $8.6 trillion reduction in tax collections between 2017 and 2026 under the plan, and another $12.2 trillion over the next decade. Really?

For the working class, his plan would be an increase in taxes. His ‘value added tax’ would result in increased prices for consumers, and any reduction in taxes for the majority would be negated.

Some of you may remember the 2008 general election. Republicans criticized Barrack Obama for his lack of experience. The difference between the President and Trump, Cruz, and Rubio is his exceptional intelligence. The three leading Republican candidates are constantly proving that they are not prepared to lead our nation. By their actions in the Senate, Cruz and Rubio have displayed their lack of intellect; making rash decisions are the actions of a fool. Intelligent men and women consider all options and possibilities before taking action.

Once again Cruz demonstrates his extremist views. He is the prime reason our government is broken. He lacks both the desire and ability to negotiate; diplomacy is a word he does not understand.

Cruz presents many dangers to our nation. Domestically, he would be a disaster; his views on national security would isolate our nation from the world and place a target solely on America. Once again a rash decision would result in the same horrendous results as did those of the Bush Administration.

Our nation has been in good hands for the last seven years. President Obama has taken a nation which was nearly destroyed by failed leadership and moved it into the right direction. We cannot afford to allow an immature and self-centerd man with ambitions for his own future to ruin America once again.
