America is ‘Feeling the Bern’

BS

I live in Northern Nevada. Just a short time ago Bernie Sanders was trailing Hillary Clinton by double digits in the polls. As our state nears its caucus this Saturday, they are in a virtual tie. Nationally, Sanders is leading in 12 states recently surveyed.

A loss in Nevada would force voters to recall the 2008 election.

More frightening for Hillary, is the fact that Sanders is now leading Clinton by seven points in Massachusetts, which holds its primary on March 1st.

I am an Independent. I was eager to see who in the Republican Party would seek their party’s nomination in 2016. If I found a candidate who was qualified, and promised to represent the working class, I would consider supporting him or her. What the GOP offered us was a group of extremists and buffoons. All nine debates have been a farce. Each one has been a thinly veiled attempt to derail Donald Trump.

Instead of a candidate who was a true leader and had new and forward thinking ideas, we have been offered a group of untalented and unqualified failures.

Bernie Sanders recognizes the truth; it’s time for a revolution. We, the people, must take our country back; there is no tomorrow for the majority if we fail to elect a man who will work for us.

Daily more and more Americans are hearing his message because it is the truth.

It is extremely difficult for me to believe that the people of our nation would consider electing an extremist such as Ted Cruz; a man who has repeatedly made efforts to destroy our government.

It’s even more impossible to consider a racist and bigot as our president. Donald Trump is a black mark on our nation.

I thought long and hard about who I would support in 2016. Initially I feared that Bernie Sanders could not win; I intended to support Hillary. But Hillary doesn’t see the world exactly as I do; Bernie does.

It’s time to make America great once again, and Bernie Sanders is the only candidate who speaks for Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Monroe, and all the other great men who gave us this nation.

Let’s honor them by electing someone who respects their values.
