Saturday will likely be Jeb Bush’s ‘last hurrah.’ The Bush family is well-liked in South Carolina, but not so much in the rest of the nation. If he plans to continue with a campaign which has wasted tens of millions of dollars, he must finish in second place.
Bush is currently in fourth place with 10.3 percent of voters supporting him. Trump, who is in first place polls at 33.5 percent. Cruz and Rubio are nearly tied with 17.4 and 16.9 percent respectively.
Here’s the really bad news for Jeb. In Nevada, where the GOP caucus is next Tuesday, Bush is in sixth place with only three percent in the polls; Trump is at 49 percent.
In reality, it is a guarantee that ‘no more Bushes will live in the White House.’
It was very evident when Jeb took the ultimate step in his desperation, asking his older brother to campaign for him. Most intelligent politicians do not want to be seen with our failed 43rd president; but what the hell, it’s time for extreme measures.
Mainstream Republicans have resigned themselves to supporting one candidate; Marco Rubio. This is extremely sad. Rubio is far too inexperienced to become our nation’s president. He has not accomplished one positive thing while he has been in the Senate. He can only speak from prepared statements, and makes me doubt his intellect. His tax plan is a gift to the super-wealthy. Rubio has virtually guaranteed that he will place our nation in another unwinnable war in the Middle East if he becomes our nation’s president.
After the 23rd, Bush, Kasich, and Carson must remove themselves for contention. Trump’s lead remains impressive, and the only battle is for second place between Cruz and Rubio.
Let’s think about this for a minute. The only three Republican candidates who are in contention are a real estate mogul who knows nothing about the America government. He is a racist, bigoted, and a misogynist. The other two are TEA Party darlings; the party within a party which not only destroyed our Democratic Republic, it has caused the GOP to implode. Really?
I have a final question, but it’s for you, not for me because I know the answer: “What the heck has happened to the real Republican Party?”
