The Insanity of Ted Cruz is Unique and Frightening

Ted

Ted Cruz is far from being ‘presidential.’ His lack of qualifications and support of special interests over the needs of the majority of Americans is well known. He has been the leading arbiter of hatred and division within our nation, and his only ‘accomplishment’ as a Senator was the shutdown of our government in 2013 causing great harm to those who actually work in Washington.

His lack of care for our system of government has been the primary reason that Washington is broken and exists in a state of gridlock.

His religious extremism is a direct insult to our founding fathers and their disdain for organized religion, which guaranteed that all Americans would be allowed to practice the faith of their choice.

Cruz wants to revise the Bill of Rights to mirror his own un-American intentions, and place the majority of the American people in servitude.

Nothing could be a more perfect example of his hatred for America than his recent incomprehensible statements about a member of a ‘reality show’ cast member.

He was speaking about ‘Duck Dynasty’ star Phil Robertson who has been exposed as a racist and bigot.

“You know what? There is a reason he terrifies the mainstream media,” Cruz, 45, told the crowd. “He says things you’re not supposed to say. He actually remembers who we are as Americans and he speaks it with a joy. Not with an anger, not with a hatred — with a joy in who we are.” Cruz further suggested that he would appoint him as ‘Ambassador to the United Nations.’

If Cruz is savoring the ‘good old days’ when blacks were not considered humans and had no rights thanks to bigots and racists, he is 100 percent in accordance with the dark past of our nation.

This is Ted Cruz’ America. Only wealthy, white, Christian men and women would be allowed to live the life guaranteed by our founding fathers.

Extremists such as Cruz are attempting to destroy the America founded by our forefathers. Cruz is Donald Trump Jr.; a man who despises the principles and morals of the American way of life.

Tomorrow, when he loses the South Carolina primary, a state which he must win or slide into obscurity, will he finally realize that the American people are not as ignorant as he believes them to be?

The GOP offerings for 2016 are a sad lot; Cruz is the worst of the worst.
