Rubio was a Big Loser Saturday, but He Won’t Admit the Truth

Rubio

Marco Rubio is re-running his defeat in Iowa. He is now spinning another sad finish in South Carolina as a ‘victory.’ Is his denial simply child-like ignorance or is he continuing to exist in a fantasy world?

His closest rival, and former TEA Party associate, Ted Cruz, won the Iowa caucus. Whether he won it honestly or not remains in question, but he was declared the winner. What has Rubio won?

Before the results in South Carolinas were official, this was a tweet from CNN who had interviewed a member of Rubio’s team.

CNN chyron right now: “SOURCE: RUBIO CAMP SAYS THIRD PLACE WOULD BE A ‘VICTORY'” Really?

South Carolina awards delegates to the winner only. That means that Trump now has 46 delegates, and Rubio 10.

Fellow Floridian, and former Governor Jeb Bush finally saw the handwriting on the wall and ended his failed campaign. How long will it take the heavily funded Rubio to wake up and face reality?

I’m certain that he is receiving encouragement from mainstream Republicans to stay in contention, but they are also in denial.

Rubio is another George W. Bush. He lacks charisma and has no positive ideas which might impress the electorate. Although we may not appreciate Trump’s ideas or philosophy, he is talking about solutions.

The RNC continues to ignore the facts; the American people want answers and ideas which will cure our domestic problems, and not empty rhetoric.

With every word Rubio displays his lack of experience and ability to lead our nation.

Weeks ago I begged Bush to cease embarrassing himself and withdraw his name from contention.

Today I’m asking the same of Rubio; ‘the party’s over.’
