The mainstream media ignores the most important events in the world in lieu of sensationalism for the sole purpose of securing advertising. But they must do the right thing and report atrocities which affect those who suffer the most around the world.
The media is biased; if a story does not include our nation, it is often ignored. America is not the most important nation is the world; that title does not exist. All of the worlds people are equally valued; all have people they love and seek a better life for themselves and their families.
Boko Haram is ISIS’ affiliate in Africa, and is far more vile than their partner in the Middle East. They consistently commit inhuman acts upon the most vulnerable people in the world.
Boko Haram is cowardly; it isn’t fighting against an army, it is murdering innocent men, women, and children. Villages across Nigeria have no defense against a group of vicious men who enjoy slaughtering those who cannot defend themselves.
The Nigerian government would like the world to believe that they are in control, but according to military specialists, that is far from the truth.
“The abduction saga alone, I think has demonstrated that Boko Haram, cannot be dismissed as defeated. They have succeeded in doing what probably no group confronted by such an international coalition has ever done,” the military source said.
In 2014 Boko Haram murdered 6,644 innocents. During the same period, ISIS is blamed for 6,073 deaths. No one is reporting this fact because the actions of Boko Haram occur in Africa.
Not a single presidential candidate has spoken against Boko Haram. Republican candidates claim that ISIS is the greatest danger to the world; it depends on which part of the world you are talking about.
Increasing focus on ISIS will result in its destruction; who will protect the people of Africa from Boko Haram?
