Rubio Lacks Popularity in Florida

MR

There are always many jokes from the late night talk show hosts about Florida and Florida voters. Maybe they are all wrong. They are wise enough to know that Marco Rubio is an unaccomplished Senator, and is unqualified to be the President of the United States.

There are approximately two-and-one-half weeks until the Florida Primary. Donald Trump has a commanding 16-point lead in the ‘Sunshine State’ in the latest Quinnipiac Poll. A loss in Florida for Rubio would not only give Trump and additional 99 delegates to the convention, it would signal the end of the inexperienced young Senator’s campaign.

Rubio has been claiming victory in the first four voter events, even though his best finish was second place in Nevada winning second by just three-tenths of one-percent over his closest competitor, Ted Cruz.

‘Super Tuesday’ has eleven states which will have primaries on March 1st. Trump leads in every state, with the exception of Arkansas, Colorado, and Texas; Rubio leads in zero. Cruz has the advantage in Arkansas and his home state of Texas, while Ben Carson is the front runner in Colorado.

Florida’s primary will be held on March 15th. If national polls are accurate, Trump leads Cruz by 13 points, and Rubio is a distant third, behind the front runner by 16+.

Another point of interest is that Cruz only leads Trump by seven points in Texas. Because Texas moved its primary to Super Tuesday, which is before March 15th, it cannot award all of its delegates to the winner; they will be divided. 155 delegates will be available, and the victor will only receive part of them.

So, here are the facts without any media hype designed to keep you interested. On Tuesday, Trump will likely win eight states, and receive delegates from the other three. This lead may confirm his status as the Republican nominee as he gains momentum towards the convention.

GOP leadership refuses to see the truth; it offered poor choices for voters who are disgusted with sitting Congressmen and Senators who have done nothing in Washington with the exception of destroying our political system. They are not angry at the ‘establishment,’ they are angry at those they elected who have been obstructionists and failed to perform the jobs for which they were elected.

Here’s an interesting scenario; what if Cruz loses Texas? Does this mean that Trump comes to the convention virtually unopposed? And what does this mean to the Republican Party? Will there be an actual GOP in 2017?

Very interesting.
