Simpatico with Bill Maher

Maher (2)

I never miss ‘Real Time with Bill Maher,’ but I don’t always agree with the liberal pundit. Sometimes he tells the truth in a manner which no one else would dare; I both laugh with and cheer him on those occasions.

Last evening, he was discussing what the Republican Party called a ‘debate.’ These were some of his initial remarks as he denigrated the GOP candidates for their immaturity and ignorance regarding the issues.

“I am speechless for the first time.”

He felt the need to ask “When exactly did America end?” and even said it was so childish and dumb, “I really wanted to shoot the TV like Elvis.”

If you thought that there was a debate Thursday evening, you must take a look at the definition: Debate: “A discussion, esp. one in which several people with different opinions about something discuss them seriously, or the process of discussing something.”

Calling each other names; personal attacks; and un-verified accusations does in no way constitute a debate.

Michael Eric Dyson was one of Friday night’s panelists. He also had a remark about the faux-debate.

“I am scared of the insane asylum that’s been revealed by their lack of maturity.”

The death of Antonin Scalia and the need for his replacement was also briefly discussed. Unlike the major media, Scalia was exposed for what he was; a biased and arrogant man, who never met a conservative he didn’t like.

Where Scalia died was also exposed as ‘cult.’ It was in Texas at a ranch where only men were invited. They wore green robes with a cross on them and then march into the woods to kill birds. Really.

I am grateful that Maher’s show is on HBO and honesty is allowed. His original show was called ‘Politically Incorrect,’ but it was heavily edited and censored because it was on broadcast television.
