Hypocrisy and Republican are synonyms. Just as Mitch McConnell insists that President Obama would appoint a biased Justice to the Supreme Court, Governor, and failed presidential candidate, Scott Walker nominated a justice to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. But this is not just any justice, she is an open racist and a bigot.
House Speaker Paul Ryan was adamant that Republicans are not the party of prejudice; he should have consulted Scott Walker before he lied to the American people. Ryan is in denial; actions by the majority of GOP politicians prove that they are the party of hatred and elitism.
Walker appointed Rebecca Bradley to the highest court in Wisconsin, again. In the past she has called gays ‘queers,’ and openly stated that she had no sympathy for them when they were infected with the AIDS virus.
Bradley previously served on the court, whose tenure is ten years. In 1992 she told radical right wing supporters the following:
“But the homosexuals and drug addicts who do essentially kill themselves and others through their own behavior deservedly receive none of my sympathy.”
According to the Cambridge Dictionary: Judge: “a person who is in charge of a court of law: a person who is qualified to form or give an opinion about something: a good judge of character.” When the term ‘judge’ is applied to the higher court, they must be impartial or their title becomes a farce. If a judge is nominated or appointed, shouldn’t she or he be expected to make decisions on the facts, and not personal opinion?
Liberal groups have re-released statements made by the woman, and demanded that Walker rescind his nomination for Bradley, which will come before voters on April 5th.
When she encountered groups attempting to create AIDS awareness she said; “their misdirected compassion for the degenerates who basically commit suicide through their behavior.”
I must thank Walker. When some who support Republicans and the TEA Party claim that they are not prejudiced, you just offered not only proof that they are, but that they’re as proud as Donald Trump of being so.
Now just think for a minute; can you imagine what state our nation would be in if Walker had won the nomination and the general election? Does ‘revolution’ seem too strong? The TEA Party strikes again.
