The Twelfth National Embarrassment

Bigot and Extremist

The 12th Republican faux-debate is about to begin. If nothing changes, how can anyone, Republican or Democrat, not be totally embarrassed by these fiascos? How can any American not be ashamed of the offerings by the GOP? How can any intelligent person believe that these clowns could become the leader of the free world?

Here’s the truth without the hype created by the major media. Donald Trump continues to dominate in all polls with the exception of Ohio, where that state’s governor, John Kasich, only trails by five points. In Florida, Marco Rubio is behind by 15 to 20 points, depending on the agency which conducted the survey. Cruz is an afterthought; whose ego is far greater than his ability or popularity.

Rubio’s latest rally in Hialeah was the greatest embarrassment the young senator has experienced; so far. A couple of hundred individuals came to a stadium capable of holding thousands. Today’s composite of all polls show Trump dominating Florida by nearly 16 points; Cruz is behind by 22.

Although the travesty which Republicans call a debate has begun, I am recording it. My intelligence, though only above average, will not allow me to be forced to listen to the ugliness which will happen this evening. If Rubio fails to impress every member of the Republican Party in Florida tonight, he is ‘history.’

In a ‘who cares’ moment, just before the debate tonight, Ted Cruz finally received his first senate endorsement. It came from Mike Lee, Republican from Utah. His claim to fame is that he believes that Cruz’ policy of complete and destructive obstructionist tactics can be effective, although the real proof is displayed in the total devastation of our Democratic Republic.

In another strange and somewhat surprising event, Ben Carson insiders are claiming that he will endorse Donald Trump. We all believed that he would support one of the “Seven Dwarfs;” Sleepy.

But here we are. This is ‘reality television.’ If you described any of these offerings by broadcast networks as frivolous, embarrassing, filled with ignorance, or hate-filled, you would be right. If you said that they were ‘informative,’ ‘insightful,’ or defined the candidate’s positions, you would be full of sh**t.
