The TEA Party has received such a despicable reputation, they are trying to mislead voters and call themselves the ‘Freedom Caucus.’ The voters of Ohio are obviously ignorant of this fact as Republicans selected a member of the FC to replace John Boehner.
Watching the ‘Donald Trump situation’ for months and examining his supporters, I am forced to question both the intellect and the patriotism of Republican voters. The TP, or FC, whatever they want to hide behind, are unqualified extremists whose goal is to destroy our system of government which has served the American people for nearly 240 years.
Warren Davidson will challenge a Democrat for the seat formerly occupied for 25 years by Boehner. He has no experience at any government level, and will serve those who are paying for his campaign.
“This is the first open seat up this cycle, so we’re doing everything we can to win,” Caucus Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told The National Review last week. “The first one is always important. It just happens to be the former speaker’s seat.”
Okay, it’s time to stop ‘bulls**ting’ the American people, The TEA Party by any other name is the TEA Party. Attempting to disguise the same party of obstructionists may fool uninformed Republican voters, but they don’t fool me.
Last evening our nation was fortunate to rid itself of one TEA Party darling in Marco Rubio. Soon the leader of these extremists, Ted Cruz, will also fall.
I believe that Donald Trump hates America because of its freedom, liberty, and equality for all people, but he is far more loyal to our nation than the TP or FC. Their only loyalty is to their owners; the one-percent.
Whatever they want to call themselves, this small group has destroyed our government. They refuse to deliberate the issues facing our nation or reach any form of compromise. Our system of government cannot function without two parties who work together for the common good.
The wealthy can take care of themselves. Our elected officials must protect the majority. The Republican voters of Ohio have made a serious mistake which will haunt them in the future if Davidson wins in November. If uninformed voters choose to believe the lies from the TP or FC, they will elect another failed politician who will not represent them in Washington.
I believe that you ‘get what you vote for;’ and that is often a very sad consequence for our nation’s future and the hopes of the working class.
