If there is one thing we have learned from Rush Limbaugh throughout the years is that he believes women are not to be respected. They serve a single purpose for this pompous and disgusting conservative; serving the needs of men. Limbaugh continues to live in the 1950’s; wishing every woman was ‘June Cleaver.’

The facts are upsetting to this disgusting prescription drug addict; women will control our nation in the very near future, and individuals such as Limbaugh will be nothing more than a bad memory.

His latest ignorant remarks were directed at First Lady Michelle Obama. He should have picked an easier target such as Sarah Palin, or Joni Ernst; Mrs. Obama is ‘way out of his league.’

Mrs. Obama was speaking in Argentina. She made a powerful and sensitive speech about sexism and gender equality; two subjects ignored by the Republican Party.

“As I got older, I found that men would whistle at me as I walked down the street, as if my body were their property, as if I were an object to be commented on instead of a full human being with thoughts and feelings of my own,” FLOTUS said Wednesday. “I began to realize that the hopes I had for myself were in conflict with the messages I was receiving from people around me.”

She spoke about family and group discussions when her brothers were asked about career choices, and she was asked who she planned to marry.

“I decided not to listen to the voices of those who doubted or dismissed me,” she said. “Instead, I decided to listen to my own voice.”

The United States must join the rest of the world’s developed nations. We are a backwards country. Many Americans shun the LGBT community, believe that racism is acceptable, deny the Constitutional right of religious freedom, and continue to consider women’s rights to be satisfactory in their present state. Rush Limbaugh believes that this is the way it should be.

Limbaugh labeled her smart, measured speech as an example of liberals once again trying to “push [their] corrupt leftist agenda.” Calling her childish for “walking about with childish grievances,” he denounced Obama and “these people” for presenting a less-than-pretty picture of American life to a foreign audience.

Limbaugh didn’t stop there; he blamed women for the sexist acts of men.

“You have your average American construction site and you have your average American construction worker and every woman in the world knows that if you go walking by there, they’re going to whistle at you,” Limbaugh said. “And yet they walk by.”

I understand that women as well as men continue to listen to Limbaugh’s disgusting radio broadcast. If this is true, our nation is filled with more hate and ignorance than I once believed.

I am nearly 70 years of age, and I have been a ‘feminist’ since my middle twenties. I have always had many woman friends, and quickly learned that they were not considered equal to men by their families, co-workers, and sadly many of their husbands.

My generation was encouraged to attend college; but the reasons for men and women were far different. Men were expected to acquire a degree and establish a successful career. Women were sent to college to find a husband who would support them. This is far from today’s situation.

More women than men are enrolling in colleges across the nation. Women are avoiding relationships and careers have become their first priority. They are the future of our nation.

Finally, think about this; would you rather have a buffoon such as Donald Trump leading our nation into the past, or Hillary Clinton who has the intelligence and experience to lead our nation into the future and join the rest of the world’s progressive nations?

Sorry Rush; you continue to be a loser.
