Mainstream Media Misleading Voters for Ratings: Hillary Will Win the Nomination

Bernie

The race for the Democratic nomination is over, but the desperate mainstream media continues to make attempts to create interest from their viewers. Although it’s true that Bernie Sanders won Hawaii, Alaska, and Washington this weekend, they matter little in the final outcome.

Personally, I am a huge fan of Bernie Sanders. He is the only altruistic candidate from either party. If he became our president, he might be included with the three greatest presidents of all time; Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, all presidents who placed the people in top priority. That said, it is highly unlikely that he can amass more delegates than Clinton.

The next primary is Wisconsin, one week from tomorrow, Clinton has the lead in the latest polls. Nationally she leads Sanders by nine points.

As with every political discussion this year, the phenomena of “Trumpenstein” must be considered. Polls of likely Democratic voters are frantic to insure that ‘the Donald’ does not become our 45th president. They believe that Hillary Clinton can easily defeat him, if he is allowed to win the Republican nomination.

When Bernie Sanders was asked if he believed that he could still win the nomination, he had this to say after his three resounding victories:

“What we showed yesterday is in fact the momentum is with us,” Sanders said. “We think we’re going to do well in Wisconsin. We think we got a real shot in New York. And then we go out to California. You go out to Oregon. That’s the most progressive part of America.”

The problem for Sanders remains; all Democratic primaries reward delegates according to the candidate’s numbers. Beginning with Wisconsin if they split the remaining available delegates, Clinton would reach a total of 2,736; Sanders would have 2,028. To win the nomination, 2,383 delegates are needed.

It’s not always fun being a realist; I believe that Bernie Sanders is a great man who actually represents the working class first. It is fair to say that everything he says is the truth, and that’s unheard of from someone running for an election. But the odds are heavily in favor of Ms. Clinton.

Another thing the mainstream media would like you to believe is that Sanders’ supporters would not vote for Hillary; that is very misleading. It is probable that Trump or Cruz will be the Republican nominee. All Democrats, and most Independents, would be voting against either one of them. We must have an American living in the White House; a man or woman who believes in the principles, and ideals of our founding fathers, and would support all of the Bill of Rights.
