Republican Party Preventing Voters from Choosing Their President?

Liberty

The Republican establishment seeks to destroy democracy, favoring an oligarchy which will select our next president. GOP leaders are considering tactics which will deny voters the right to select the man or woman who will lead our nation.

Efforts to deny Donald Trump the Republican Party’s nomination began in August of 2015; they have failed. But the GOP establishment is not giving up. They are maximizing their efforts to buy Ted Cruz the party’s nomination, although they hate him, and are fully aware that he would be a disaster as our nation’s president.

Mainstream Republicans are excited with the latest polls in Wisconsin. Ted Cruz is experiencing a surge, and now leads Trump by nearly ten points. The question is; will a defeat in this Republican dominated state have any effect on Trump’s eventual victory?

Republicans cannot win elections without ‘buying’ them. Their appeal to the majority of Americans is virtually non-existent. Their position on the issues is diametrically opposed to the needs of most Americans, and continue to be the party which supports the wealthy and ignores the working class. Their next goal is voiding the votes of the American people. The Electoral College was the beginning of discounting the votes of the American people, but Republican leaders are considering a strategy which will completely remove the first amendment rights of the American people.

Republicans are desperate to prevent both Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton from living in the White House. They are considering a ‘nuclear solution’ which would result in the Republican controlled Congress choosing our next president.

Billionaires who own the party are seriously considering a third party candidate. Their goal would be to win enough states to prevent either mainstream candidate from receiving the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the election. If that was successful, the House of Representatives would choose our nation’s leader. What that actually guarantees is that Republican leadership would select our next president, not the people of our nation. 2016 could result in a bigger farce than the 2000 election.

Would this create a second revolution? Undoubtedly. I don’t believe I stand alone in my disdain for the Republican Party and its failure to represent the vast majority of our nation’s people. If it attempts to eliminate my voting rights, I want to see a national revolt and oust all of our elected officials.

We must take back our country. Politicians have moved our nation from a Democratic Republic to an oligarchy. They want to remove our freedoms, our rights, and move the United States into the past. If we allow them to continue on their present path, they will tear up the Constitution and fascists will control our daily lives.

I have no respect for Donald Trump, but the Republican establishment must not be allowed to control our political system. Our president must represent the electorate. We cannot be forced to accept the decision of one party’s leadership.

Our nation is in danger of destruction. The Republican Party is defunct, and its failed leaders want to force the nation to join its demise.

Early fall of 2015 had the late night comedians laughing at the political farce which the Republican Party had become; no one is laughing now.
