All of you Trump supporters must answer one question for me; do you honestly believe that you would support having Donald Trump’s finger on the nuclear trigger? If you answered ‘yes,’ I know why you are a fan of ‘the Donald;’ you are as ignorant and dangerous as he is.
Trump revealed one of his goals; he would disband NATO. Really? He claims that it is “obsolete.” The most explosive response was from the right wing.
Justin Raimondo, a self-described “conservative-paleo-libertarian,” wrote on Antiwar that Trump’s idea to end the “bad deal” that is NATO would see the US “risking World War III,” particularly if it expands along Russia’s borders.
“With his plan – or, rather, inclination – to abandon the old NATO and replace it with some sort of multilateral counter-terrorist operation, and his insistence that our ‘allies’ pay up, Trump is forcing an issue onto the stage that hasn’t been seen since the days of Bob Taft,” Raimondo said.
He is not wrong. If Trump became the President of the United States, relationships President Obama re-established after the failed Bush Administration would crumble. Our nation would once again be isolated from the rest of the world. It is also highly likely that millions of Americans would riot in the streets of our nation, signaling the beginning of a second American Revolution.
If you believe that a Cruz Administration would be far better, you must have your head examined. He would lead from religion, destroy the middle class, and our nation would become a plutocracy. When he was finally voted out of office, the Republican Party would not win an election for at least a decade.
2016 is not a time in our nation’s history when children can be allowed to lead our nation. Both Trump and Cruz have proven their immaturity, and revealed their lack of the qualities necessary to lead our country forward.
If you believe in America, our Constitution, your fellow man and his or her right to be free, you must be ashamed of those who claim to be Republican candidates for our nation’s highest office.
Donald Trump is blamed for most of the ugliness from the GOP, and also for the fracturing of the Republican Party. The former is only partly true, and the latter is a blatant falsehood.
Although no one can deny that Trump is boorish, a racist, a bigot, a misogynist, and nearly wrong about everything, he is not alone in the creation of a GOP which has become a total farce.
Megyn Kelly was interviewed on “CBS Sunday Morning.” Charlie Rose is no Tim Russert, and allowed Kelly to lie when asked questions. She once again made the fallacious claim that FOX Noise is ‘fair and balanced,’ and is not a tool of the Republican Party. She also lied about her confrontation with Trump during the first Republican faux-debate last August. She never asked Trump one question about his stand on the issues; they were all personal attacks. She was obviously following orders from Reince Priebus and Roger Ailes.
Trump has not divided the GOP. Republican establishment caused the fracturing of the party over a ten-year period, and voters are rebelling, using their support of a complete political outsider as their tool.
I continue to believe that Trump will self-destruct. I also believe that every effort by Republican leadership to derail his campaign has only made him stronger, and added further destructive rhetoric to Trump’s game.
Rubio is proof that Trump cannot be beaten using his own tactics; he’s better prepared, and far more evil.
