Okay, here’s the truth. Megyn Kelly has played the game according to the rules. She’s been a good and loyal puppet of the Republican propaganda machine which is FOX Noise. She continues to claim that the entertainment network is ‘fair and balanced.’ Last August she followed FOX Noise President Roger Ailes orders and attempted to derail Donald Trump in the first faux-debate by attacking him with personal questions. She has been a perfect surrogate, and deserves to be rewarded.
While Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity’s ratings are declining, Kelly is becoming the prominent personality on the failing network. Her feud with Donald Trump has certainly assisted in the rise of her ratings. Like most women in America, she is paid far less than her male counterparts.
But maybe that’s all she’s worth. She is no longer a journalist; her education was wasted when she agreed to be a FOX Noise pundit. She is not as successful at lying as O’Reilly and Hannity. To put her position as an opportunist in reality, she could be called a “smart Sarah Palin.”
Kelly is now threatening to leave the fake news network if she does not receive compensation equal to her other entertainers. She is demanding $15 million per year, a salary believed to be equal to that of O’Reilly.
Her close relationship with Roger Ailes may be the key to a solution between the pretend-news network and Kelly. O’Reilly has been exposed as a liar; he has falsified his tales as a journalist, and author. As his ratings decline, FOX is counting on Kelly to save the network.
I have a serious problem with Kelly; she has a split personality. In an interview with Charlie Rose, she pretended to take the ‘high road’ when asked about her relationship with Donald Trump. She also defended FOX, claiming that it is ‘fair and balanced.’ If she believes this, she is a fool. I believe that she knows the difference, and is concerned only with the money.
Sadly, Rose is no Tim Russert; he failed to challenge Kelly’s statements, knowing that she was blatantly lying.
Regardless of the outcome, I will never watch a FOX Noise broadcast again. The way they conducted the Republican debates was an embarrassment to American politics. Although the major media failed to report the fact that they were orchestrated efforts to remove Trump from the campaign season, I actually watched them; it was obvious.
No one who has ever been employed by FOX can be respected as a real journalist. Sometimes it’s subtle, but their entertainer’s long conversations are always slanted to the right.
In truth, there is no ‘news’ today on television. A valid reporter does nothing more than reveal the facts about a story. Today, every story receives discussion time, and opinions are given. These policies remove the opportunity for the American public to make their own decisions.
I must inform Ms. Kelly, O’Reilly, and Hannity that facial expressions are included in the word ‘opinion.’
