NRA Supports Unrestricted and Dangerous Gun Sales to Anyone

“Gun TV.” If you are angry at your ex-wife, have consumed an unacceptable amount of alcohol, and you are watching “Gun TV,” you might consider buying a lethal weapon without any restrictions such as those nasty background checks, and solve all of your problems.

The NRA is ecstatic; the gun manufacturers have a new outlet to increase their profits, and a new business to sell lethal weapons to anyone without knowing who the purchaser might be.

“We saw an opportunity in filling a need, not creating one,” Valerie Castle, one of the co-founders of the channel, told the Guardian. “The vast majority of people who own and use guns in this country, whether it’s home protection, recreation or hunting, are responsible.

“I don’t really know that it’s going to put more guns on the streets.”

If this isn’t the biggest hunk of dog turd I have ever read. She saw a way to get rich, and doesn’t give a damn if what she sells kills an innocent person.

As for the NRA gun lobby, every time there is a mass shooting, they know that ignorant people will rush to their local gun store and purchase a weapon. Now they can click a button on the internet, or order one by phone.

Television networks which sell items to the public, including the home shopping networks and infomercials, depend on ‘impulse buying;’ purchasing items based on an emotional response and not logical thought.

Gun law advocates have serious concerns about this new network, and said the following:

“The thing that’s wrong with this is that it’s a very serious decision when you bring a gun into your home.

“So many people are killed by guns every day in the US; we need to think long and hard about this. My gut reaction is that it’s the last thing we need.”

How will this “Gun TV” confirm that the individual purchasing the weapon is of legal age, and not a convicted felon or someone experiencing severe mental problems?

This is idiocy at its highest; but the NRA has a different opinion. They continue to fight for the rights of those in the gun industry to place profit above the lives of the American people.
