If you read as much as I do, you might believe that there is more evil than good in the world. If you believe in God, you are likely unable to understand how He could allow the atrocities we read and hear about daily. The question every thinking person asks, is that if what is written in the Bible contains any truth, how could God allow the poorest people in the world to continue receiving punishment, death, and suffer for simply being alive?
ISIS is composed of thugs and murderers who are attempting to conquer the world for their own ambitions. They operate under the deception of religious belief; the same pretense used by religions for centuries. They must not simply be stopped; they must be annihilated.
However, this cannot happen without the inclusion of the Muslim nations in the region; this is their holy war, not ours.
As evil as ISIS may be, another group of vile inhumans is even worse; Boko Haram.
We hear little about Boko Haram from the mainstream media for multiple reasons; it doesn’t offer political fodder; it doesn’t pose a danger to America; and it performs its evil in a region of the world no one cares about.
Tomorrow will mark two years since 276 school girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram from their school in Chibok, Nigeria. Over 50 escaped, but the rest remain in control of the terrorist group. Authorities are now reporting that some of these young girls have been forced to become suicide bombers.
Boko Haram invades villages at will, slaughtering men women and children. Deaths at the hands of this horrific group exceed the numbers caused by ISIS; but no one cares.
If there is an attack by ISIS, the media reports it incessantly. No one informs the world about the atrocities of Boko Haram. We rightfully decry and moan the murder of innocent people in Paris and Brussels, but no one leaves flowers for the children killed in Africa.
ISIS has become a tool of politicians. Some seek a solution requiring diplomatic efforts with nations in the region, while others would involve our nation in another unwinnable war. There is no effort to aid the Nigerian army in its attempts to defeat Boko Haram.
As of March, 2015, ISIS murdered 6,073 innocents; Boko Haram slaughtered 6,644.
I often accuse conservatives of being racist; and I’m not wrong. However, the denial of Boko Haram’s greater evil proves that the entire western world lacks concerns for the deaths of its victims because they are black and the poorest people in the world.
The governments of the world care only about groups which pose a danger to their nation. Little concern is offered for a situation unrelated to their countries, and offers no benefit for its people.
Religious organizations rant and rave about issues such as abortion, but none speak of the danger Boko Haram presents to the innocent people of Nigeria.
Boko Haram can be destroyed, but it requires the participation of all nations. It is possible to eradicate evil in the world, but the world must be focused on its destruction and cease to ignore its existence.
