Proof that Political Parties are bad for the American People

Donald vs GOP

If you continue to ignore the facts, and believe that our nation remains a Democratic Republic, read the following definition.

“A democratic republic is, strictly speaking, a country that is both a republic and a democracy. It is one where ultimate authority and power is derived from the citizens, and the government itself is run through elected officials.”

If you are a Republican voter, and you think that this definition describes the current GOP, you must look at the facts.

The control of your party has been removed from the people, and stolen by the establishment. It has already begun. Republican leadership is spending a small fortune on ads intended to influence Republican voters to cast their ballots for Ted Cruz, and defeat Donald Trump’s candidacy. Although you haven’t heard this fact from the mainstream media, the truth cannot be ignored.

The truth is that the establishment opposes the will of the people. They deny the fact that 40 percent of GOP voters support Trump. For the first time in modern history, it has failed to support the leading candidate; in fact, they have joined together to defeat him. As one member of the establishment said: “Voters don’t nominate the presidential candidate, the party does.”

Is this the way you want your party to respond to your loyalty?

I have maintained the fact that political parties are detrimental to the future of America, and destructive to the majority of our people. Do the events occurring within the right wing signal the end of Democracy, and reveal the establishment of an oligarchy? The resounding answer is “yes.”

Politicians have brainwashed their supporters into believing that the party comes before people. Their tactics of using fear and hatred for those on the other side of the aisle have convinced voters that the quality of a candidate is of no importance; voting for a candidate with and “R” or a “D” is mandatory.

Of course, Independents such as myself find that decision not only ignorant, but dangerous. This policy is why we had a George W. Bush, a Michelle Bachman, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, and now a Ted Cruz. These individuals are some of the reasons why our country is broken.

Tomorrow the New York primary will take place. Trump’s lead over John Kasich is nearly 30 points, and 35 above Cruz. But it will be of no importance; the party will choose the GOP candidate.

Trump also has an 18-point lead in Pennsylvania, and a nine-point lead in California.

None of this will have relevance. The goal of Republican leadership is to prevent Trump from receiving the 1,237 delegates needed before the July convention. If they succeed, and it is highly possible, approximately 122 delegates will select the party’s nominee.

At least the convention will provide some good television. Networks such as CNN, FOX, MSNBC, and others who are regularly ignored by many, will see their ratings soar. The debacle inside Quicken Loans Arena will likely be louder, and filled with more anger than the protests outside.

Set your recording mechanisms for July 18th through the 21st; this will be an honest reality television event.
