NRA Wants Criminals to be Allowed to Purchase Guns

NRA

The NRA is a gun lobby, not a gun rights advocate. It has but a single purpose; to increase the profits of gun manufacturers and gun sellers. It is no longer a gun safety advocate as it was at its inception. It supports the availability of lethal weapons for everyone, including the mentally challenged and criminals.

New York City has gun laws which are designed to prevent criminals from purchasing guns from legally operated gun stores. The NYPD discovered a scam to circumvent these laws, and has launched a concerted effort to cease the process. Not only did the NRA complain about the efforts of law enforcement to protect innocent men, women, and children, it falsely accused the action, labeling it as ‘unconstitutional.’

As I was driving today, I was following a small, relatively inexpensive SUV. In the back window was an NRA sticker. Why a working class American would support a lobby who represents a billion-dollar industry, and hates the rights of the majority vs the rights of the few, I will never understand.

Until I was 30 years of age the NRA was the leading advocate for gun safety, in fact, it wrote many of the gun laws we have today. In 1976 it sold out to big business. Isn’t it time that Americans educated themselves regarding our government and lobbyists.

Your vote no longer matters; especially if you vote Republican. They will make any promise to be elected, and once in office deny the rights of the majority of Americans in support of the wealthy.

Turn off FOX Noise and stop believing everything you hear. Get the facts; think for yourself; do not accept the opinions of others as your own. God gave you the gift of free thought; use it. Politicians are the evil which has divided America for their own personal gain. It’s us against them, but they can’t win if they are not elected.

Why do you believe that it costs millions of dollars for each individual election? Have you ever asked why these outrageous sums are spent to obtain a $174,000 per year job? To me, that’s a lot of money, but I cannot spend millions to receive such a position.

Take back America for the people; remove the oligarchy created by politicians before it’s too late.
