Can Republican Establishment Deny Trump Now that He is Polling at 50 Percent?

For Republicans, there is only one question; will Reince Priebus and his Republican establishment deny a Trump candidacy now that national polls reveal that he has reached 50 percent support of GOP voters, while Cruz’ numbers are declining? To be brutally honest, his only course is to let it all be. Whatever happens in July, 50 percent of Republican voters will be displeased.

In a contested convention, the GOP has nothing to offer. Of the 17 who began campaigning last August, not one was qualified to lead our nation. None offered positive ideas to advance our country. The only hope for the Republican faithful was Paul Ryan. Ryan was adamant in his statement that he refused to be the party’s nominee. He believes the GOP standard bearer should be one of the declared candidates.

The media refuse to report the truth and inform the American people. The RNC has strong-armed Republicans in the primary states, and spent millions of dollars in a blatant and historical attempt to guarantee that Trump does not receive the 1,237 delegates needed to secure the nomination. Then what? There is no solution.

Whatever the establishment decides to do, millions of Republican voters will be reluctant to go to the polls in November.

The truth is that Hillary Clinton may receive crossover votes. Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are the two most hated men in American politics. A loss for either would be a win for the American people and the future of the United States.
