When Real Journalists Confront Pretenders: HuffPost vs FOX

FOX

After the Correspondents Dinner in Washington Saturday night, it should be no surprise that opposing interests would face each other in a battle of the sane and insane. When it occurred, it was not the expected rivals, but a serious journalist vs an entertainment and television personality who squared off outside of the event.

FOX Noise has experienced success as a propaganda machine for the Republican party through lies and misdirection. Their tactics are often questionable, if not immoral.

Huffington Post Washington Chief Ryan Grim approached FOX Noise’ Jesse Watters, known for his tactic of blind siding those he seeks to interview. Grim was filming the incident on his phone.

Grim demanded an apology for Amanda Terkel. The former Managing Editor for Think Progress is now employed at the Huffington Post. She previously wrote an op-ed piece calling Watters’ interview of her ‘harassment.’

A scuffle began when Watters attempted to grab Grim’s phone. It was quickly broken up by other media present at the scene.

FOX is an embarrassment to legitimate news agencies. It hires ‘personalities,’ not journalists. The only thing it hasn’t done to promote the fake-news network is to sell a calendar titled ‘the Women of FOX Noise.’

I have no love for any of the media, but FOX is the most deplorable. It has brainwashed weak-minded Americans for years with lies and half-truths. It employs discredited personalities such as Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity to tell viewers what to believe. Other failed ‘showmen’ include Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and Ann Coulter.

The good news for America is millennials have rejected most of the media’s reporting of the news. They search for topics on their Smart Phones, and choose what to believe. They are completely rejecting FOX, and a decline in its ratings is the proof. As old white people die off, so will FOX.
